Presentation Evening Dates:

Derby Mini Soccer League Presentation Night is on the 25^th May 2012 (U9,U10 and U11). This is by invitation only and involves just league winners, runners up, cup winners and leading goal scorers.   The under 7's and under 8's usually have a presentation of medals on the pitch at the end of the season.

Derby City League Presentation Nights are on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th May, the City League have two presentation nights, one for the Saturday divisions and one for the Sunday divisions.

CLOSURE OF QEGS GYM FOR CHRISTMAS BELOW, NO TRAINING ON THESE DATES INSIDE! THIS ALSO APPLIES TO ASTROTURF AT QEGS.

School holidays where the Sports Hall will be closed are as follows:

Tuesday 20th December, Wednesday 21st December, Thursday 22nd December 2011 - school is closed
Tuesday 27^th December, Wednesday 28^th December, Thursday 29^th December 2011, - school is closed
Tuesday 3^rd January 2012 - school is closed, Wednesday 4th & Thursday 5th January we do not have a booking either.
Tuesday 10th January 2012 - evening closed because of main school event
WEDNESDAY 25TH JANUARY 2012 - CAREERS EVENING, therefore no bookings
Tuesday 7th February 2012 - no 6pm-7pm slot in QEGS sports hall, 7.00pm - 9.30pm slots are ok as normal
Tuesday 21st February, Wednesday 22nd February, Thursday 23rd February 2012 - school is closed for Shrovetide.

Late Night Shopping in Ashbourne on Friday 9th December 2011 brought in a profit of £455.00 for the club, from the proceeds of the Tombola and Hamper Raffle. Thanks to all who supported this event in any way.

Aztecs' Christmas Party for age groups u-7's - u10's on Saturday 17th December was a great success with the balloon release and Santa's appearance adding to the fun this year. Total raffle ticket sales amounted to £839.00, a record again for the club, thanks to all who supported this either by purchasing tickets or donating prizes. A full list of prize winners is shown below for the raffle.Thanks also to the parents of the under 7's - under 10's for providing the pooled buffet at the party, a lovely spread once again.

As a result of the old cd's and dvd's collection, the under 11's were kitted out with the training kit featured below, and the remainder of the money raised is going towards the under 13's new kit for the 2011/12 season. Thanks to all of you who contributed to this collection.

LOST PROPERTY

We currently have the following item in lost property:

Red QEGS hoody, teenage size, left at Mappleton Playing Fields/Pavillion in November/December.

A number of plates and silver platters left at the Christmas Party following the buffet 17/12/11.

Please contact Viv/Julian 0n 01335 346773 if this item is your child's, after 6 months it will be redistributed to any new member joining the club.

There is currently 1 spare Aztecs kit available - yellow and black kit for age 16/18 consisting of 14 shirts. Please contact Julian to see if this can be utilised before purchasing new.

If any of the current Managers have any kits in addition to the above which they no longer need, please forward to Julian as soon as possible to be launded & prepared for next season.
